Analysis: The defense dominated the game, limiting the Giants to just 29 yards on the ground and under 300 yards through the air, for their first Week 1 win since 2017. Analysis: Retaining Watt for a fifth year -- albeit at a hefty salary -- was a no-brainer for Pittsburgh after he notched a career-high 14.5 sacks to go with eight forced fumbles and two interceptions during a first-team All-Pro season in 2019. Expect Pittsburgh to attempt to work out a long-term extension with Watt at some point this offseason or next.

Analysis: After nine consecutive games with a sack, Watt was unable to get to Arizona quarterback Kyler Murray, but the rest of the Pittsburgh defense picked up the slack with five sacks. Watt still contributed in a big way when he intercepted a pass intended for Maxx Williams in the Pittsburgh endzone. Watt was still playing college ball for Wisconsin the last time Pittsburgh faced Week 15 opponent Buffalo in 2016 with Pittsburgh winning 27-20.

Coach Mike Tomlin said Watt played through a bone bruise in Sunday's win over Cincinnati, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Watt briefly left the game while dealing with the injury but was able to return. The Wisconsin product picked up two solo tackles, a forced fumble and a sack in the win and has now gotten to the quarterback in each of the last eight games. If Watt can manage the bone bruise again, he'll have a great chance to add to his streak when he and the defense take on Baker Mayfield and the Browns in Week 13.

Watt totaled four tackles (two solo) including a sack in Pittsburgh's 21-7 loss to Cleveland Thursday night.
Analysis: In a game the Steelers would like to forget, Watt had the lone defensive highlight when he got to quarterback Baker Mayfield. He now has a team-leading 10.5 sacks. Watt had 1.5 sacks and a fumble recovery earlier this season against Week 12 opponent Cincinnati in a 27-3 win in which six different players combined for eight sacks. The Bengals have allowed the seventh most sacks this season (31) making the Steelers an attractive option despite the lackluster effort against Cleveland.
