Joins Raiders' practice squad
Harris signed with Las Vegas' practice squad Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Analysis: Harris was placed on Baltimore's injured-reserve list during the preseason and was waived with an injury settlement Aug. 25. He's presumably recovered from the undisclosed issue since he was able to participate in a workout and subsequently sign with the Raiders on Wednesday. Harris participated in four contests with the Giants last season, posting seven tackles across 42 defensive snaps.

Gets waived from IR
The Ravens waived Harris (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Thursday, Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus reports.
Analysis: Harris joined the Ravens a few days before he landed on the team's IR in mid-August after he suffered an undisclosed injury. Once the linebacker is healthy and able to play again, he'll be able to sign with another team.

Heads to IR
The Ravens placed Harris (undisclosed) on injured reserve Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Analysis: Harris' IR designation helps Baltimore reach Tuesday's 85-man roster limit and makes the 255-pound linebacker ineligible to play this upcoming season, unless he can agree on an injury settlement with the team. Harris didn't appear in the team's first preseason game last Thursday, having signed with the Ravens on Saturday before hitting IR.

Signs with Baltimore
Harris signed a deal with the Ravens on Saturday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: The 2017 undrafted free agent's best year came in 2019, when he logged 22 tackles (16 solo) and 1.5 sacks with the Dolphins. Harris has logged only eight games of action since, and none in 2021. He'll look to provide depth at a position currently helmed by Josh Bynes and Patrick Queen.

Parts ways with Giants
Harris was waived by the Giants on Tuesday, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
Analysis: The 25-year-old was promoted from the practice squad in late October and had five tackles and a half-sack in three games, though the last time he saw game action was Week 10. Harris is expected to rejoin the practice squad if he clears waivers, per Stapleton.

Promoted from practice squad
Harris was promoted from the Giants' practice squad to the active roster Tuesday, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
Analysis: The 25-year-old joined New York's practice squad earlier in October and was elevated as an extra player for the past two games. Harris appeared in one of those games and played nine defensive snaps, but he apparently made enough of an impression during practice to warrant a longer-term look on the roster.

Inks deal in Miami
Harris signed a contract with the Dolphins on Tuesday.
Analysis: The Dolphins cut Harris in July after he played 11 games for the team last season, recording 22 tackles and 1.5 sacks. Following Vince Biegel's season-ending Achilles injury, Harris will add depth as a pass-rusher in Miami.

Let go by Miami
Harris was waived by the Dolphins on Sunday.
Analysis: Harris suited up in 11 games last season for the Dolphins, collecting 22 tackles (16 solo) and 1.5 sacks. The 24-year-old was set for a reserve role again in 2020, so this news isn't quite surprising. Harris will look to earn an LB gig with another club this season.

Signs ERFA tender
Harris officially signed his contract tender with Miami on Wednesday.
Analysis: The Dolphins tendered Harris as an exclusive-rights free agent in March, so there was no realistic chance of him joining another club. The 24-year-old mostly played a reserve role in 2019, totaling 22 tackles, 1.5 sacks and one forced fumble in 11 games.

Manages 22 tackles in 2019
Harris recorded 22 tackles (16 solo), 1.5 sacks and one forced fumble in 11 regular-season contests in 2019.
Analysis: Harris played a reserve role in Miami's linebacker corps for the majority of the 2019 campaign. His only start came Week 17 against New England. As an exclusive rights free agent, the Dolphins could realistically opt to bring Harris back for the 2020 season.

Sidelined Week 14
Harris (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's divisional tilt against the Jets, Adam H. Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.
Analysis: Harris has missed three straight games as a healthy scratch. The depth linebacker and special-teams contributor's next chance to suit up will come Week 15 against the Giants.
