Will return to Green Bay
The Packers and Nixon (concussion) agreed Monday on a one-year deal with a max value of $6 million, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Nixon signed with the Packers in March of 2022 and reunited with special-teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia, who coached Nixon during his previous stint in Las Vegas. Nixon, an undrafted product out of South Carolina, periodically saw some work on defense with Green Bay, totaling 23 tackles, an interception and a forced fumble across 276 defensive snaps, but he made his mark as a return man after Amari Rodgers was waived in November. Nixon totaled 1,009 kick-return yards, 140 punt-return yards and…read more

Evaluated for concussion in Week 18
Nixon is being evaluated for a concussion Sunday against the Lions.
Analysis: Nixon took a big hit at the end of a fourth-quarter kickoff return in the season finale. The 25-year-old return man showed promise in 2022, scoring a kick return touchdown in Week 17 against the Vikings while adding numerous other lengthy returns.

Ready to roll Sunday
Nixon (groin) is active for Sunday's game against the Vikings, Mike Spofford of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Nixon, who departed last weekend's matchup versus Miami due to a groin injury, is now in line to play and operate as Green Bay's kick and punt returner New Year's Day against Minnesota. The 25-year-old has thus far provided the Packers with a spark on special teams this year, something the team has lacked the past few seasons.

Questionable for Week 17
Nixon (groin) has been deemed questionable for Sunday's game against the Vikings, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
Analysis: Nixon was forced out with a groin injury and did not return during last week's win over the Dolphins. He then did not participate in each practice of Week 17 prep, though it appears he'll still have a chance to play. Nixon has provided a jolt to Green Bay since taking over as the team's primary returner, making numerous big plays, including a 93-yard kick return early in the first quarter last Sunday. Should Nixon be ruled inactive prior to this Sunday's 4:25 pm E.T. kickoff, rookie wideout…read more

Won't return Sunday
Nixon (groin) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
Analysis: Nixon suffered a groin injury in the second quarter of Sunday's game after providing a spark for Green Bay as a kick returner early in the matchup. Romeo Doubs will likely continue to fill in as the Packers' return man down the stretch, while Nixon's next chance to suit up will be Jan. 1 against the Vikings.

Managing groin injury
Nixon is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Dolphins due to a groin injury.
Analysis: Nixon had a 93-yard kick return ahead of the Packers' first offensive possession Sunday, but he apparently sustained a groin injury in the second quarter. It's unclear whether he'll be able to return, but Romeo Doubs took over as Green Bay's kick returner late in the second quarter.

Delivers again in return game
Nixon had three solo tackles in Monday's 24-12 victory over the Rams. He also returned three kicks for 95 yards and two punts for 36 yards in the game.
Analysis: Nixon continues to be revelation for the Packers, as he played every defensive snap Monday night and again made an impact in the return game. He now finds himself second in the league in kick return yards, and although he has taken back just six punts, he ranks second league-wide with an average of 15.3 yards per punt return.

Makes mark in victory
Nixon had two assisted tackles and an interception in Sunday's 28-19 victory over the Bears. He also returned four kicks for 102 yards in the game.
Analysis: The interception was the first of Nixon's career, and it came late in the fourth quarter and ensured the Packers walked away with the win. He also racked up over 100 return yards for the fourth game in a row. Nixon will presumably continue fielding kicks after the Packers' Week 14 bye, and he figures to remain part of the defensive game plan for as long as fellow cornerback Eric Stokes (ankle/knee) is sidelined.

Makes key plays in victory
Nixon made seven tackles (six solo) and forced a fumble in Sunday's victory over the Buccaneers.
Analysis: Nixon was pressed into duty Sunday after fellow cornerback Jaire Alexander left the game early with a groin injury, and he made his presence felt, generating a turnover and finishing third on the team in tackles -- not to mention covering a punt at the opponent's one-yard line. If Alexander is unable to go in Week 4, expect Nixon to again slot in as the Packers' third cornerback.

Back in full Wednesday
Nixon (shoulder) was listed as a full participant on the Packers' injury report Wednesday.
Analysis: Nixon was forced to exit Green Bay's season-opening loss to the Vikings after he appeared to suffer a shoulder injury while making a tackle on his lone defensive snap. Now, the fourth-year defensive back, who played 157 of his 234 total snaps on special teams over 11 games with Las Vegas last season, appears to be healthy once again heading into Sunday night's game against the Bears.

Headed to Green Bay
Nixon has agreed to a deal with the Packers, Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus reports.

Nixon (ankle) will play Sunday against Washington.

Logs full practice
Nixon (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game against Washington.

Ruled out once again
Nixon (ankle) won't play Thursday against Dallas, according to Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site.
Analysis: Nixon has been dealing with a nagging injury that has kept him out since Week 10 against the Chiefs. He has appeared in just five games for Las Vegas this season and has played just 13 total defensive snaps. As such, his absence is not expected to affect many fantasy rosters.

Not playing against Bengals
Nixon (ankle) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Bengals, according to Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com.
Analysis: Nixon headed to the sidelines last Sunday against the Chiefs and couldn't recover in time, as evidenced by the fact that he was unable to practice throughout the week. This means Brandon Facyson (finger/hamstring) or Amik Robertson could be in line to gain more snaps as replacements, though it remains to be seen if Facyson will play or not.

Heads to sideline Sunday night
Nixon (ankle) is questionable to return to Sunday night's game against the Chiefs.
Analysis: There has been no word on whether this is the same injury that had Nixon questionable heading into Week 10, but that seems likely. His absence will mostly be felt on special teams.

Available Sunday
Nixon (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against Kansas City.

Upgraded to questionable
Nixon (ankle) has been upgraded to questionable for Sunday night's game against the Chiefs, Willie Ramirez of ESPN Las Vegas reports.
Analysis: Nixon was originally listed as doubtful after being a non-participant at practice throughout the week. He's primarily been a contributor on special teams, so if he is unable to play Sunday, it shouldn't impact the Raiders secondary.

Doubtful against Kansas City
Nixon (ankle) is doubtful for Sunday's game against Kansas City, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.
Analysis: Nixon was listed as a non-participant at practice throughout the week and is unlikely to suit up in Week 10. He's played exclusively on special teams across the last two games, so his absence likely wouldn't impact the Raiders' defensive rotation.

Ruled out for remainder of game
Nixon (ankle) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's matchup against the Giants.
Analysis: Nixon injured his ankle during the Raiders' Week 9 matchup against the Giants and has been ruled out for the remainder of the contest. The 24-year-old has only played 13 defensive snaps this season, so his absence shouldn't affect the Raiders defensive rotations.

Returns from IR
Nixon was activated from injured reserve Saturday.
Analysis: The cornerback suffered a leg injury in early September and has yet to make an appearance this season. Both Damon Arnette and Trayvon Mullen were added to the IR on Saturday, so Nixon's return to the secondary is a welcomed one.

Hit with injury
Nixon (hip) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Chiefs.
Analysis: The 23-year-old has been scarcely featured on the defensive side for Las Vegas, fielding only 11 defensive snaps on the year heading into Sunday's contest. Nixon had registered 18 yards on his lone kick-return attempt against Kansas City, but the Raiders will now be left with Jalen Richard and Henry Ruggs to pick up the slack in that department.
