Registers 1.5 sacks vs. Pittsburgh
Odeyingbo tallied three tackles (one solo), including 1.5 sacks, during Sunday's 27-24 win over the Steelers.
Analysis: Odeyingbo had a solo sack on quarterback Justin Fields for a four-yard loss late in the second quarter, and the former followed that up with a split sack with Tyquan Lewis (calf) just four plays later. Odeyingbo has logged 50 defensive snaps in each of the last two games, which coincides with Kwity Paye missing time due to a quadriceps injury. Through the first four games of the regular season, Odeyingbo has accumulated nine tackles (five solo), including 2.0 sacks.

Just one tackle in win
Odeyingbo had one total tackle in Sunday's win over Chicago.
Analysis: Odeyingbo played on 62 of the defense's 90 snaps, but he had little production with one tackle and just two QB hurries. He's having a slow start to the season with just a half-sack and only six tackles in three games. The 2021 second-round pick had a breakout season last year with eight sacks.

Analysis: Odeyingbo is coming off the best season of his three-year career, finishing 2023 with 38 tackles (22 solo), including 8.0 sacks, two passes defended, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries across 17 regular-season games. Odeyingbo and Kwity Paye are locked in as the Colts' top pass rushers heading into 2024 after Samson Ebukam suffered a torn Achilles' tendon.

Misses practice Tuesday
Odeyingbo (calf) didn't practice Tuesday, Jake Arthur of Sports Illustrated reports.
Analysis: Odeyingbo missed his second consecutive practice as he continues to recover from a calf injury. Once healthy, the 2021 second-round pick is slated to start at defensive end for the Colts, after he compiled 22 tackles (16 solo), with 8.0 sacks, across 17 regular-season games played a season ago.

Manages 8.0 sacks in 2023
Odeyingbo logged 38 tackles (22 solo), 8.0 sacks, two pass breakups, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries across 17 regular-season games with the Colts in 2023.
Analysis: Odeyingbo, a 2021 second-round pick, put together career-high numbers across the board in 2023. He's begun to find success as a key rotational pass rusher in Indianapolis' defensive scheme, and in 2024 Odeyingbo's numbers could uptick again if he's able to more consistently handle above 50 percent of defensive snaps.

Registers in sack column Saturday
Odeyingbo recorded four tackles (two solo) including 1.5 sacks in Saturday's 30-13 win versus the Steelers.
Analysis: Odeyingbo's performance in Week 15 brought his season sack total up to 8.0, putting him in position to push for double digits in that category in his third NFL season. Atlanta has fielded a run-heavy squad so far this year, though, so he may not get quite so many pass-rushing opportunities in Week 16.

Posts career day
Odeyingbo four solo tackles, including three sacks, in Sunday's 10-6 win over the Patriots.
Analysis: Odeybingo had three sacks coming into the day and doubled that total with a single-game career-high against New England. The Vanderbilt product has already surpassed his previous season-best total of five sacks, as his role has incrementally increased each season. Next up for Odeybingo and the Colts face off with the Buccaneers on Sunday, Nov. 26 following a Week 11 bye.

Odeyingbo had seven total tackles, including 1.5 sacks, a pass defensed and four QB hits in Sunday's overtime loss to the Rams.
Analysis: Odeyingbo played on 48 of the defense's 82 snaps. He could be set for a larger role in Week 5 against Tennessee if Kwity Paye misses time with a concussion.

Puts on weight in offseason
Odeyingbo said Wednesday that he's up to 285 pounds and indicated that he can feel his Achilles getting stronger now that he's more than two years removed from tearing it, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Analysis: The Colts made Odeyingbo a second-round pick in April 2021, three months after he tore his Achilles' tendon while training for the draft. He played only 173 defensive snaps in 10 games as a rookie before progressing to 518 snaps (45.5 percent), 31 tackles and five sacks in 17 games last season. Odeyingbo, 2021 first-round pick Kwity Paye and offseason signee Samson Ebukam project to handle most of the snaps at defensive end for Indianapolis in 2023, but Odeyingbo could also get some interior…read more

Career high in tackles, sacks
Odeyingbo recorded five tackles (four solo) and two sacks during Saturday's 39-26 loss to the Vikings.
Analysis: Despite having played just 47 percent of the Colts' defensive snaps Saturday versus Minnesota, Odeyingbo logged the first multi-sack performance of his career. The second-year defensive end also amassed a career-high five stops this past weekend, so he'll likely retain his usual rotational role on the team's defensive line when Indianapolis hosts the Chargers next Monday night.

Just four snaps in season opener
Odeyingbo had one total tackle and played four snaps on defense in Sunday's tie at Houston.
Analysis: The Colts selected Odeyingbo in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft, 54th overall, despite him suffering a torn Achilles' tendon just a few months before the draft. He returned to play in 10 games last season, but he played just 167 snaps and had just six tackles. It looks like he'll begin the season far down the depth chart.

Makes practice debut
Odeyingbo (Achilles) resumed practicing Wednesday, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 the Fan reports.

Placed on reserve/NFI list
The Colts placed Odeyingbo (Achilles) on the reserve/non-football injury list to open the regular season, Joel Erickson of the Indianapolis Star reports.
Analysis: This move was expected as Odeyingbo tore his Achilles while training for the NFL Draft. The 22-year-old will be inactive for at least the first six weeks of the season after being placed on the reserve/NFI list, but it remains to be seen if that is all the time that he will miss. The rookie wants to play this season, but the Colts will most likely be extremely cautious with their second-round pick.

Placed on non-football injury list
Odeyingbo (Achilles) was placed on the non-football injury list Sunday.
Analysis: The move isn't much of a surprise since Odeyingbo suffered a torn Achilles tendon in January before being selected 54th overall by the Colts in the draft. The 22-year-old doesn't have an official timeline for his return but hopes to see the field at some point this season.
