First catch of season in loss
Scott caught a five-yard pass in the Bears' 30-12 loss to the Vikings on Monday.
Analysis: Scott caught 17 passes for 168 yards as a rookie in 2023, but this year, the receiver has not played more than six percent of the snaps in any game. Against Minnesota, Scott hauled in a pass from backup quarterback Tyson Bagent when the backups were on the field. Expect Scott to remain quiet unless any of the Chicago receivers miss time.

Healthy scratch for Week 12
Scott (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Vikings.
Analysis: Scott has played just two offensive snaps over his last two regular-season outings, and he'll be a healthy inactive for Sunday's contest. His next chance to play will be Week 13 against the Lions on Thursday, Nov. 28.

Out Sunday
Scott (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Titans.
Analysis: The 2023 fourth-round pick secured the Bears' fourth receiver spot after catching six passes for 99 yards and returning two kickoffs for 49 yards in the team's final preseason game. That said, he remains behind DJ Moore, Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze on the depth chart. Scott caught 17 passes for 168 yards and no scores as a rookie.

Stellar showing in preseason finale
Scott secured six of nine targets for 99 yards, rushed once for 17 yards and returned two kickoffs for 49 yards in the Bears' 34-21 preseason win over the Chiefs on Thursday night.
Analysis: Scott took advantage of the expanded opportunity afforded by the fact the Bears' top three wideouts sat out, posting team-high reception, receiving yardage and target totals. The 2023 fourth-round pick still projects to open the season as no better than the No. 4 receiver behind DJ Moore, Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze, but his game-breaking speed will still make him an intriguing deep-league asset, especially if he also gets opportunities to work as a returner as he did Thursday.

Likely reduction in playing time
With the addition of Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze to Chicago's wide receiver room, Scott is likely to begin the season as the No. 4 receiver.
Analysis: Although Scott posted just 168 yards on 17 catches as a rookie, he was on the field for at least 37 snaps in six games beginning in Week 6. After being used often in three receiver sets, it's unlikely that Scott will be used in that role often with DJ Moore, Allen and Odunze on the roster.

One grab in loss
Scott caught one pass for 12 yards in the Bears' 17-9 loss to the Packers on Sunday.
Analysis: Scott played on at least 40 percent of the snaps in eight of his last 12 games, and he gained valuable experience that he'll need to make a push up the depth chart in 2024. The rookie finished the season with 17 catches and 168 yards along with seven rushes for another 41 yards. Scott is signed through the 2026 season.

Targeted five times in win
Scott caught two passes for 15 yards in the Bears' 37-17 win over the Falcons on Sunday.
Analysis: With Darnell Mooney (concussion) sitting this one out, Scott saw his highest target total of the season. However, he was held to fewer than 20 yards for the 15th time in 16 games. Although he could be in line for a few targets in Week 18 at Green Bay, his typical low scoring floor will make him tough to trust in fantasy lineups.

Best game of rookie season
Scott caught three passes for 49 yards in the Bears' 20-17 loss to the Browns on Sunday.
Analysis: While the Bears were trying to mount a comeback in the waning moments of the game, the Cleveland defense lost track of Scott on a short pass. As a result, Scott turned the catch into a 30-yard gain to give him more than 19 yards in a game for the first time this season. Although his opportunities have increased since Week 5, his typical production makes it seem unlikely he'll repeat the success he had in this game.

Catches lone target
Scott caught a 15-yard pass in the Bears' 28-13 win over the Lions on Sunday.
Analysis: Although Scott has caught passes in eight different games, he's yet to post 20 yards in a game. Unless his role increases, his low-scoring floor makes him tough to trust in fantasy lineups.

Will play Sunday
Scott (hamstring) is active Sunday against the Lions.
Analysis: Scott was a late addition to the team's injury report, popping up Friday with a hamstring injury. With Equanimeous St. Brown (pectoral) out, the Cincinnati product could see a boost in opportunities against Detroit.

Hamstring injury emerges Friday
Scott is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Lions due to a hamstring injury.
Analysis: Given that Scott didn't appear on the Bears' Week 14 injury report Wednesday or Thursday, he may have tweaked his hamstring at some point during Friday's practice. The rookie has held a minor role on offense as a depth receiver this season, recording 10 catches for 81 yards on 20 targets.

Quiet in losing effort
Scott caught a four-yard pass in the Bears' 31-26 loss to the Lions on Sunday.
Analysis: Despite playing more than half the snaps since Week 6, Scott has yet to post 20 yards in any game. Unless he sees an increase in his passing-game usage, he'll remain a low-floor fantasy option.

Performs well in limited chances
Scott rushed once for 16 yards and caught a 15-yard pass in the Bears' 16-13 win over the Panthers on Thursday.
Analysis: Scott had played 58 percent of the snaps over his previous four games, but with Equanimeous St. Brown back from injured reserve, Scott saw his snap share fall to 39 percent. The lessened playing time resulted in him being targeted only once, which was down from the three targets per game he was seeing since Week 6. If St. Brown is going to continue playing significant snaps, it will likely be at Scott's expense.

Three targets in loss
Scott caught one pass for 11 yards in the Bears' 30-13 loss to the Chargers on Sunday.
Analysis: Scott has played 58 percent of Chicago's snaps over the last three games, though he's yet to post 20 yards in any contest. The increased usage is promising, but until his production follows, he may not be a reliable fantasy option.

Best game of season
Scott caught two passes for 19 yards in the Bears' 30-12 win over the Raiders on Sunday.
Analysis: After being targeted five times over Chicago's first five games, Scott has seen four targets in each of his last two games. The recent bump in production along with an increased snap share since Week 5 are promising, but until Scott can post higher yardage totals, he's not yet a consistent fantasy option.

Four targets in defeat
Scott caught two passes for 12 yards in the Bears' 19-13 loss to the Vikings on Sunday.
Analysis: Scott also had two receptions in the season opener, but his two receptions in this game brought him up to five grabs on the year. However, his four targets were one fewer than he had in the previous five games. With Equanimeous St. Brown (hamstring) set to miss at least three more games, it's possible that Scott could continue to see regular targets.

Sees usage as runner
Scott handled two rushes for 19 yards in the Bears' 31-28 loss to the Broncos on Sunday.
Analysis: Despite Justin Fields attempting 35 passes, Scott didn't see a target as a receiver, but he did see work as a runner. With 39 scrimmage yards on the season, Scott will need to see an increase in usage before he can be considered a reliable fantasy option.

Could see increased role
Scott could see an increased role in the Bears' offense with Chase Claypool (coach's decision) inactive Sunday against the Broncos, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Scott has been involved as a peripheral member of Chicago's receiving corps three games into his professional career, playing in around 20 percent of the team's offensive snaps. With Claypool inactive, Scott could see more time on the field in three-receiver sets, though Fishbain also mentioned the possibility the team could opt for more two-tight end sets, which would push Robert Tonyan onto the field over Scott.

Targeted three times in loss
Scott caught one pass for six yards in the Bears' 41-10 loss to the Chiefs on Sunday.
Analysis: Scott has three catches for 20 yards on the season, and unless his role in the offense increases, he'll be tough to trust in fantasy lineups.

Pair of grabs in debut
Scott caught two passes for 14 yards in Sunday's 38-20 loss to the Packers.
Analysis: Scott caught both of his targets, though neither gained more than nine yards. Although he tied DJ Moore and Chase Claypool for second among Chicago wide receivers in targets, there were five teammates who saw more passes than the rookie. Look for Scott to battle with Claypool for snaps in three-receiver sets going forward.

Impressing early in training camp
Scott has stood out as a fast learner early in training camp, Adam Jahns of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: The 2023 fourth-round pick out of Cincinnati has quickly grasped the playbook. Scott has also shown off his speed on the field, tracking down numerous deep passes in practice while also seeing usage as a return man on special teams. There may not be many pass-catching opportunities for the wide receiver in a run-heavy Chicago offense that added wide receiver DJ Moore in the offseason, but Scott's still putting himself in position to contribute right away.
