Game-long catch in loss
Reed brought in three of five targets for 55 yards in the Packers' 34-20 loss to the Lions on Thursday night. He also committed a fumble that was recovered by Green Bay and returned one punt for no gain.
Analysis: The highlight of the speedy rookie's night was a game-long 44-yard grab, which accounted for the majority of the wideout's production. Reed still saw a solid target total in what was Christian Watson's season debut -- in fact, he outpaced the latter by one in that category -- an encouraging development with respect to his potential involvement moving forward. Reed has already developed plenty of chemistry with Jordan Love, and he'll have a chance to continue building that rapport ahead of a…read more

Inconsistent in Week 3
Reed caught three of seven targets for 63 yards in Sunday's 18-17 win over the Saints.
Analysis: Reed, who scored twice in Week 2, failed to secure a pair of would-be touchdowns in the fourth quarter. Despite those disappointments, though, the rookie rallied to make a fantastic, diving catch for a 30-yard gain to set up Green Bay's winning score. With a new high in single-game yardage to boot, Reed continues to flash playmaking potential, which should keep him regularly involved whether or not Christian Watson (hamstring) returns for Week 4's Thursday night game against the Lions.

Scores twice versus Falcons
Reed caught four of eight targets for 37 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 25-24 loss to the Falcons.
Analysis: Reed scored his first career touchdown on a nine-yard push pass during the first quarter. He then capped a drive that saw him make a few receptions with a 10-yard touchdown during the third quarter. With top wideout Christian Watson (hamstring) sidelined thus far, Reed has provided a nice playmaking element to Green Bay's offense that should see him remain involved as the third receiver even if Watson returns in Week 3 versus the Saints.

Encouraging NFL debut
Reed caught two of five targets for 48 yards in Sunday's 38-20 win over the Bears. He also rushed once for a two-yard loss.
Analysis: Reed was rocked on his first touch, an option pitch he did well to hold onto. Afterward, though, he made a couple key catches on third downs and showed some shiftiness in the open field by totaling 54 yards on three punt returns. While he briefly exited with cramps late in the game, Reed ultimately returned to recover an attempted onside kick. Overall, it was an eventful debut for the rookie second-rounder, who'll now turn his attention toward Week 2's trip to Atlanta, when top wideout…read more

Returns to game in Chicago
Reed (cramps) returned to Sunday's game against the Bears, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
Analysis: Reed briefly exited after cramping in the fourth quarter, but he reentered the game with the Packers' hands team as the Bears attempted an onside kick. The 2023 second-round pick from Michigan State has two catches for 48 yards on five targets in his NFL debut.

Two catches before cramping
Reed (cramps) is questionable to return to Sunday's game in Chicago.
Analysis: With the Packers comfortably leading late, the rookie wide receiver's NFL debut is likely done, but cramps shouldn't affect Reed's availability moving forward. The 2023 second-round pick out of Michigan State caught two of five targets for 48 yards and rushed once for minus-2 yards prior to getting hurt in the fourth quarter. Reed couldn't put weight on his right foot as he was being helped off the field, per Rob Demovsky of ESPN.

Gets two touches
Reed caught one of three targets for seven yards and took a carry for nine yards in Saturday's 19-15 preseason win over Seattle.
Analysis: The second-round pick got his carry on the opening drive and saw all three of his targets on the third and final drive for the first-team offense. Reed figures to be at least the No. 3 receiver when the Packers open their season at Chicago in Week 1, with the potential to move up a spot if Romeo Doubs' hamstring injury lingers.

Catches first preseason TD
Reed took his lone reception (two targets) for a 19-yard touchdown in Saturday's preseason loss to New England.
Analysis: Reed followed up his two-catch debut last week with his first touchdown as a pro on Saturday. It was also the Packers' first touchdown of the game, as the second-round selection continues to see some reps with the first-team offense. Reed will likely wind up occupying the third receiver/slot role behind Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs to begin the year, but the Michigan State product is making a case for more targets with his strong play early on.

Two catches in NFL debut
Reed caught both of his targets for 20 yards and added a six-yard punt return in Friday's 36-19 preseason win over the Bengals.
Analysis: Reed caught one pass from starting quarterback Jordan Love and another from backup Sean Clifford. The rookie wide receiver also drew a pass interference penalty. It was encouraging to see Reed mix in with Love and the starters in his NFL debut, and the 2023 second-round pick out of Michigan State is projected to occupy a top-three role in Green Bay's receiving corps come the regular season. Reed will likely see plenty of action in the Packers' second preseason game against the Patriots on Aug.…read more
