Headed to injured reserve
The Titans placed Jackson (ankle) on injured reserve Friday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Jackson will land on injured reserve after reportedly injuring his ankle in practice Thursday. The undrafted rookie was handling return duties for the Titans before getting hurt and will now be out for at least four weeks.

No role on offense
Jackson played 11 snaps on special teams in Sunday's 27-24 overtime win over the Chargers and brought back two punts for 11 yards.
Analysis: The undrafted rookie out of Georgia earned a spot on the Titans' 53-man roster out of the preseason after securing a job as the team's top kickoff and punt returner, but he doesn't look as though he'll be featured at receiver anytime soon. Jackson has yet to log a snap on offense through two weeks.

Makes 53-man roster
Jackson was informed Tuesday that he's made the Titans' initial 53-man roster, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Jackson exited the Titans' second preseason game this year due to a knee injury, but he returned to action for the team's preseason finale and played 17 snaps on offense and seven on special teams. He secured his lone target for a 26-yard touchdown during the team's exhibition win over New England and should begin the 2023 campaign as a depth option at wide receiver.

Leaves with knee injury
Jackson exited Saturday's preseason game against the Vikings with a knee injury, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Jackson went undrafted out of Georgia earlier this year. He caught two of three targets for 24 yards in the preseason opener last week but wasn't targeted against Minnesota prior to his injury.
